Standing Seam Metal 'Eyebrow' Addition
After replacing a portion of the homeowner's rear roof, they called us back out to replace a shingled 'eyebrow' section on the front with metal, standing seam panels.
This accent look is becoming increasingly popular. It's a great way to make your home stand out, but when installing a standing seam roof it must be done right. There are different panel styles, gauges, paint coatings and more that warrant experienced installers.
For this job the homeowner opted for a concealed fastener system. The also chose to use 24-gauge flat panels coated in a special product called Kynar.
Kynar is a PVDF Fluropon coating and its unique properties make it highly resistant to weathering, ensuring that the colored panels will not fade over time.
